Astronomy is the scientific siren call that beckons us to look upwards and explore the cosmos. Its purest form represents humanity’s quest to understand the greater universe we are a part of. It draws a distinct line between itself and astrology; one is a science steeped in rigorous research and empirical evidence, while the other is a form deception that intertwines celestial events with terrestrial destinies. By delving into astronomy, we reach for greatness far above the trivialities of our daily squabbles, connecting with the vastness of the cosmos that puts our worldly concerns into perspective.
In our Astronomy sector, we engage both students and educators with a series of hands-on educational activities designed to spark a lifelong passion for celestial observation. We conduct amateur astronomy workshops that introduce fundamental concepts, complemented by stargazing programs that bring the wonders of the universe to villages and remote locations, free from the glare of city lights. Under the auspices of ISRO‘s Space Tutor initiative, we work to popularize astronomy, enhancing public understanding of space science and highlighting India’s contributions to space exploration. Additionally, our asteroid hunting workshops provide participants with hands-on experience using real astronomical data, offering the thrilling possibility of discovering new celestial bodies. Through these initiatives, we aim to inspire a deep-seated fascination with astronomy, cultivating a broad public appreciation for our place in the cosmos and encouraging a new generation of astronomers.
We initiate students and educators into celestial observation, providing foundational astronomy education that sparks a passion for the skies and nurtures future astronomers and scientists.
We demystify the night sky through stargazing programs in villages and remote locations, where the universe’s wonders become a shared community experience, accessible to all, unobscured by city lights.
In partnership with ISRO’s Space Tutor initiative, we strive to democratize space science, enhancing public engagement and knowledge of India’s contributions to space exploration.
We collaborate with educational institutions to conduct asteroid hunting workshops, providing practical experience with real astronomical data. These workshops offer students the thrilling possibility of discovering new celestial bodies.
